The 2017 French Open
... starts today.

is it time for a changing of the guard ?
in the mens, the big four are accumulating age and injuries. in the womens, Serena is up the duff and Sharapova didnt qualify .

i'll pick two to have a good run ;

mens = Sascha ZVEREV

womens = Svetlana KUZNETSOVA
.

Re: The 2017 French Open
When he first spoke after the match Nadal did speak in French.
In the middle of the interview he did apologise for his French being 'terrible' and did a lot of the rest in English.
Especially when he was then asked questions in English obviously.

will never see that done again in any slam, that forehand down the line was superb

Must really piss off the Parisians that Rafa gives his speech in English.
Murray did well to avoid that kind of embarrassment. On clay there's no one to touch him in that blistering form.

Re: The 2017 French Open
He looks fit enough to give it a shot especially with Djokovic in the midst of some sort of meltdown.
Very wise of Federer to skip Paris and focus on Wimbledon at 100%.

Clay court specialist innit, I doubt he'll win Wimbledon though

Chuffed to see Nadal back, had feared he was finished which would have been a real shame. The man is a warrior, a beast, a titan, even if some bizarrely would think that he's bent/gay.

Stan will be looking for his 4th Grand Slam title which would put him ahead of Murray

All over, probably the best match Stan has ever played.

Been incredible the past 6/7 games.

Love the French being pissed off, though probably massive cunts mainly here as they're Parisians.

Even the French hate Parisians.

Blinding match.
